Happy Mail

I am a member of several groups on Facebook for card makers, scrapbookers, and paper crafters. One group started a Happy Mail campaign. Everyone who wanted to participate gave their name and address and then the full list was sent to each of us. The idea is to pick, at random, someone to send a card (or anything else) to. That way you get a random, unexpected surprise, a.k.a. Happy Mail. I’ve sent out five cards and I just got one myself. A nice woman, named Brenda, sent me 8 different stamped images for coloring and then to be used on cards. Needless to say I spent the weekend coloring and making cards. First a picture of the coloring, along with the unicorn cake already becoming a card.

And now here are the other seven turned into cards as well.

This was a great idea and so much fun. I would not have had these images otherwise, and probably not anything I would have done without the prompting. Now I get to send them out to others – and hopefully make some Happy Mail of my own. Enjoy!
